Nearly there...

Today was my first day back at work after I have been in a bed for about a week. I have come to the realisation that I am going to need more sick leave to recover from my sick leave...tired is not even coming close in describing how I feel tonight.

A hot both is waiting, thereafter the cool sheets of my bed...which will help with a freshly spanked bottom as well. I still am reeling from the fact that the moment I said that I am much better, I had to bend over! I know I said that I did not want the chicken soup and orange juice, but yikes - would have accepted flowers, chocolates, and a good book or two. However, I received the “lovely” gifts of the cane AND the damn bath brush!!

Normally people that are recuperating from illness receive tender loving care, granted– I was the recipient of the tender part - I am currently sitting on it. The refresher course I received yesterday effectively means that I am back on track with my diet and have no more excuses not to exercise. Life is nearly back to normal...

Hopefully, once my sorry derriere is in bed tonight, I will, instead of reaching for tissues, or having coughing fits, only be dreaming erm...well, dreaming nice things.

Glad you got such "tender" care during your illness. Hope you feel better soon.

Another grand one, love. Sitting pretty right along with you. Damned thuddy bath brushes!

Sweetie, glad you're back at work but I also have those "your temperature's down, so your knickers can be moments"...so unfair!

Uncle Nick' bath brushes shall be added to the Moleskin Notepad on the raid :)

Now why does that NOT surprise me, MarQe? I personally think that all bath brushes should be burned. Erm...and my bottom burning because of a bath brush, is excluded in the above statement. (GRIN)

Totally unfair! Just when you think that hot, feverish, burning feelings are gone, and the world looks great...they pull down your knickers, and ignite another round of hot, feverish and burning feelings...

Bonfire is the key word, dd. A good, high to heaven flaming bonfire... (rubbing hands in glee)

Just wondering after you have been sick and are finally on the road to recovery, do you get an unusual feeling in your bum. Its not quite an itch but a definite requirement for attention?

SIGH...not you too. I was quite happy to live a bit longer with the slight itch...but alas.
