So, not only am I most likely in trouble again with HH tomorrow...but Uncle Nick is ever so keen to keep on reminding me that if I do not meet the agreed-upon weight by the time I arrive in the UK, I will be receiving one cane stroke for each kilogram not met.

Drivel? Uncle Nick you would not even know how to be dewy eyed if someone pays you...however, summer for a South African means that it is time to haul out the braai (BBQ)...and obviously anything that will start a fire. I am SO thinking a cane will be perfect.
You know what's REALLY depressing? There is an entire generation out there who has no idea what a "broken record" is.
Raven, I am not sure about dewy eyed, but tears have already started to well in my eyes for the state your bottom will be in if you have not lost weight. You know the consequences!
And I am sorry to say that if you have been eating the right things AND doing some exercise then you will have lost!
