This posting was first named Cowboys and Indians, however, after the comment that Kulgur (thank you!) has left, I have adapted the post. The first cartoon is Conan the Barbarian (and not my assumption that it is a depiction of an Indian - blame it on my South African upbringing - comics were from the devil himself or something like that!)
Back to the cartoons...well, then it seems...
that not a lot has changed...

The top one is Conan the Barbarian. Not really Native American by any stretch of the imagination.
I've read the comic it's taken from, and I'll admit, seeing the hero's cute little girlfriend getting her bottom smacked really made for a great ending.
In case anyone wonders why she's being spanked: He told her to stay in the palace they were staying at, but she disguised herself as a guard and snuck out. Then, the valley is invaded by monsters (zombies or something similar) and everyone has to run. Conan is standing outside the valley, wondering how he's going to get through the zombies to rescue her, when she steps forward and reveals herself.
He gives her a kiss for staying safe, and then deals with the disobedience.
All of this is from memory, by the way, and it's been years, so I'm not 100% sure of the details.
Wow, that sounds like a great comic, Kulgur. That Conan sure was a Barbarian, eh?
Great illustrations, Raven. Nothing ever really changes does it? I kind of like that.

Your right not a lot has changed. Love the pictures. Conan the Barbarian, wasn't Arnie in a film with that name?
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
